I am writing this message from my home on Kibbutz Shamir, about 5 miles from the Lebanese border.
In Israel now, we are going through incredibly difficult times on so many levels.
I am an English teacher, from an Arab village in the North of Israel.
The recent events of last month made me think about continuing to live in the area in which I now live.
Physically, I am well, but mentally, I am tortured.
It is hard for me to imagine a more difficult and traumatic time than the days since the horrific massacreon Black Saturday, October 7th.
In January and March of the current year, delegations of Galilee Dreamer students and staff traveled to South Africa and the US.
Writing a letter about where I am today vis a vis what is happening is very complex and not at all easy.
My Dear Dreamers, I have just read your exchange of opinions on WhatsApp.
